The hotel sits in a calm, tree-lined street off the main shopping boulevard, giving guests easy access to Ku'damm's shops, cafés, and restaurants while staying away from street noise. Savignyplatz S-Bahn station is 350 metres away, providing direct connections to the Olympiastadion (20 minutes) and central Berlin. The Christmas market at Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is a 10-15 minute walk. Many restaurants, bars, and cafés are clustered around Savignyplatz Square (650 metres), and supermarkets like Lidl are on the next street. The neighbourhood is considered safe and walkable, with buses and trams also close by.

The hotel occupies an old Berlin building with generously sized rooms featuring period-style decor, warm colours, and parquet floors. Each room has cable TV, an electric kettle with tea/coffee, and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and either a shower or bath. Rooms facing the courtyard are notably quiet, while street-facing rooms may pick up traffic noise. A few rooms have a small terrace overlooking the leafy courtyard. There is no air conditioning, but fans are provided. Wardrobe space is limited to a hanging rail in some rooms. Some bathrooms are compact. The old elevator serves all floors but can be uneven. Family rooms and cots are available.

The breakfast buffet (€19) offers a wide selection including fresh pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit, smoothies, and hot dishes. Vegan and gluten-free items are available on request. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until late morning, and guests can eat indoors in a retro-styled room or outside on the sunny terrace and garden. A lighter 'small breakfast' option is also available at a lower price. The hotel has no restaurant for lunch or evening meals, but the surrounding streets offer numerous dining options within a 2-5 minute walk. Special diet menus can be arranged on request. Fruits and wine/champagne are available for an extra charge.

For leisure, the hotel offers a cosy library with books and board games, and a shared lounge/TV area. The outdoor garden with terrace furniture is a pleasant spot for reading or enjoying a drink. Berlin Zoo and the Kurfürstendamm shopping street are within easy walking distance. The surrounding area has many cafés, bars, and the Savignyplatz square with its lively atmosphere.
