The hotel sits at the edge of the Old Town, giving quick access to attractions, restaurants, and shops. Promenade des Anglais is 2 km away (15-20 minutes on foot through the Old Town), and Nice-Ville Train Station is 2 km. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is a 14-minute drive, but tram Line 2 from the airport to Garibaldi station and then Line 1 to République (20 m from the hotel) takes about 50 minutes. Public parking (Parking ACROPOLIS) is 5 minutes away at €25/day with multi-day discounts. The area has numerous dining options within 300 m, and a self-service laundry is nearby. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet while still being central, making it suitable for both business and leisure travellers.

Rooms are small but functional - some have a balcony or terrace (south-facing). The family room consists of two small rooms separated by a glass partition. All rooms include carpeted floors, heating, a hairdryer, and free toiletries (soap, shower gel). The lift is very small (fits 1-2 people with luggage). The Small Double and Small Double with Balcony cannot fit a baby cot. Note that noise from neighbouring rooms and the street can be audible, so lighter sleepers should book upper-floor or courtyard-facing rooms. Some rooms have outdated furniture and decor, but bathrooms in many rooms have been updated. A safe, electric kettle with tea/coffee, and an alarm clock are provided.

Breakfast is served in the breakfast area and includes a variety of breads, pastries, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausages. Gluten-free bread and plant-based milk are available on request. The hotel has a bar and a coffee house on site, open until 23:00, serving wine/champagne, fruits, and drinks. There is no restaurant, but the surrounding streets have numerous restaurants within a short walk. Breakfast is generally well-regarded for its variety and freshness, although the hot food selection can be limited later in the morning.

The Old Town, Place Massena, and the port are within a 5- to 15-minute walk. Tram Line 1 from République (20 m) reaches Place Massena in 3 stops. For longer excursions, Nice-Ville Train Station is 2 km away, providing access to Monaco, Èze, and other coastal towns. The hotel has a shared lounge/TV area and a bar open until 23:00.
