HOTEL FERRUCCI, Florence

Hotel Ferrucci sits on the Arno River in a quiet residential area outside the ZTL zone. The historic center is a 20-30 minute walk away, with the Uffizi Gallery reachable in 20 minutes on foot. Bus line 23 stops nearby and reaches the Duomo in about 10 minutes, making the location practical for both walking and public transport. The area offers numerous trattorias, cafes, and pastry shops within a short walk, and the riverbank provides a pleasant route for strolls. Firenze Peretola Airport is 11 km away; no airport shuttle is available.

Accommodation at Hotel Ferrucci is in a historic building with individually decorated rooms. Standard amenities include air conditioning, heating, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with shower. Room size varies: some are spacious with high ceilings and frescoed ceilings, while others are compact. Road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise, and internal noise from other rooms can be audible. Bathrooms are generally small and some have fixed rain shower heads without a handheld option. No private balconies are available, but a shared rooftop terrace with river views is accessible. Daily housekeeping and complimentary bottled water, biscuits, and coffee are provided in rooms.

Hotel Ferrucci does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. However, each room is equipped with an electric kettle and complimentary water, biscuits, and instant coffee (bring your own milk if desired). The surrounding area offers many cafes, pastry shops (pasticcerie), and trattorias within a 300-metre walk, making it easy to find breakfast and other meals. This setup works well for travelers who prefer flexibility in dining rather than a fixed meal plan.
