Notre-Dame Cathedral is 500 metres away, and the old town is roughly 20 minutes on foot. Nice Ville train station is within a 5-10 minute walk, giving easy rail access across the Côte d'Azur and to the airport via tram. The immediate streets are full of shops, restaurants, and cafés. A Carrefour Express supermarket is right next door. The area feels safe to walk around, even late in the evening. Both the beach and the centre are within easy walking distance, making a car unnecessary for most visitors.

Rooms are individually decorated, each with a cable TV, desk, electric kettle, safe, and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a mezzanine level or a French balcony. Double rooms can be spacious, but single and some standard rooms are notably compact. The property is older and the furnishings are basic - interiors feel dated but are kept clean. Windows and soundproofing are limited; street-facing rooms and thin internal walls mean noise from traffic, neighbouring rooms, and the nearby discotheque can be an issue. Air conditioning is available and effective. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the street and on a higher floor.

The breakfast is a simple continental buffet with bread, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, and hot drinks. It is served in a pleasant terrace or patio area, which is a comfortable spot to start the day. For guests who prefer to skip the hotel breakfast, there are numerous cafés and bakeries within a 2-3 minute walk, including a boulangerie 300 metres away. A Carrefour Express is on the ground floor for self-catering snacks and drinks.

The rooftop terrace features outdoor furniture and a picnic area - a useful space for reading, snacking, or unwinding at the end of the day. The hotel also provides free beach towels and mats, which makes a beach day more convenient without extra rental costs. There is no pool, spa, or gym on site.
