HOTEL MILO, Rome

The hotel is in a mixed-use building on a lively street near Termini, with a high density of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets within a 300-metre radius. The Colosseum is about a 20-minute walk, and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is a 3-minute stroll. The immediate area around Termini can feel chaotic, with crowds and some litter, but the street itself has security cameras and the building has key access. The closest parking is a public garage about 500-700 metres away; the hotel offers a discount but no on-site parking. For airport transfers, the train from Termini is the most direct option - the hotel's shuttle (65€ for up to 4 people) runs from 06:00 to 23:00.

Breakfast is available at an additional charge of 10 EUR per person and includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, jam, Nutella, juice, and hot drinks. The breakfast room is small, and during peak times items can run out and are not always replenished quickly. Travellers who want a wider variety - such as fresh fruit or hot dishes - can find numerous cafés and restaurants within a short walk. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the surrounding street offers a high concentration of dining options, including Italian trattorias, pizzerias, and a KFC, all within a 2- to 5-minute walk.
