HOTEL CARACCIOLO, Rome

All rooms have private bathrooms with free toiletries and a hairdryer, and daily housekeeping is provided with towel changes. The beds are generally described as comfortable, though some twin configurations use two single mattresses pushed together, which can feel uneven if the mattresses differ. Rooms are cleaned daily and are well-maintained; newer bathrooms are spacious, but some units have older fixtures where the shower pressure or drainage can be intermittent. All rooms are air-conditioned, and heating is available through the same unit. Soundproofing is present, but noise from the courtyard or street can still carry, and rooms on lower floors may hear nearby escalators. Windows open onto either the street or a courtyard - street-facing rooms offer less privacy and can be noisier, while courtyard-facing rooms are quieter. No rooms have a balcony.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast room, so all meals must be taken outside. During reception hours (08:00-20:00), tea and coffee are provided free of charge. A café partnership offers a discounted breakfast voucher (typically coffee, croissant, and juice) at a nearby bar about two minutes away. Many restaurants serving Italian, Chinese, and Indian cuisine are located within a 5-minute walk, including La Taverna Italiana, Hang Zhou, and Apicio Restaurant By Eataly. The minibar in the room is empty at check-in; if you want drinks or snacks, it is best to buy them from the minimarket directly opposite the hotel.
