Friedrichstrasse Station (300 m) connects to Alexanderplatz and Brandenburg Gate in 5 minutes, and the S9 train runs directly to the airport. Many central attractions - Museum Island, Unter den Linden, the government district - are within walking distance. The area is dense with restaurants, bars, and shops, and a large supermarket is across the street. On-site parking is very limited (4 spaces), so using public transport or the nearby Parkhaus Spreekarree garage is more reliable for drivers. The location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping, and theatre visits, but the riverside terrace and street-facing rooms can experience noise from traffic and the restaurant until late.

All rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed, with a flat-screen TV, work desk, hairdryer, and free WiFi. Bed sizes are queen or king; twin beds are not available. Standard rooms (Small, Medium, Large) are accessed by lift and vary significantly in size - some are noted as compact, particularly single rooms. Premium options include the Sport Suite (with Peloton bike), Spree Suite (for up to 3, with river view, minibar, Nespresso machine; some have a spa bath), Fritz Loft (for up to 4, larger than the Spree Suite, with a balcony and kitchenette), and Junior Suites (many with river-view balcony). Fritz Apartments have a sofa bed in the same living area, not a separate room. Triple rooms have a double bed and either a single or sofa bed. Daily housekeeping is offered on request (place the 'Do not disturb' sign or inform reception); otherwise, rooms are not serviced automatically. The building is a Plattenbau (1989) last renovated in 2019, and some rooms are described as showing wear. Useful extras: a fridge is available on the floor (no in-room minibar in standard rooms), and electric kettles are provided in many rooms.

Breakfast is a buffet with continental options, an omelette station, and fresh coffee; it costs €18.50 per person and is not included in the room rate but can be booked on arrival. The immediate surroundings offer numerous other dining options (burgers, tapas, Italian, etc.) within a 300-metre walk.

The hotel does not operate a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. Guests can rent bicycles (for an additional fee) directly from the hotel, and cycling tours start from the entrance, making the Spree riverside cycle paths easily accessible. The sun terrace on site provides outdoor seating. For active stays, the Sport Suite includes a Peloton bike and barbells. The surrounding Friedrichstrasse area offers many walking and sightseeing options within close reach.
