Basement rooms (souterrain) feature tall windows that provide natural light, but some face the sidewalk and can experience street noise; rooms near staircases may hear foot traffic from the wooden floors above. These rooms are equipped with tiled floors, heating, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and basic furnishings - no wardrobe or tea/coffee facilities. Apartments are located on floors 1-3, are significantly larger, and include a separate bedroom, a living area, a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, tea/coffee), a washing machine, and mid-century Danish design furniture. They offer canal views and more quiet. The apartment's bed is described as comfortable, with thick duvets and pillows. All units have private bathrooms with showers (no bathtubs), and rooms are cleaned daily (an additional charge applies). No air conditioning: a central system controls temperature and fans are provided.

Spisestuen offers a vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner, with options like smørrebrød and homemade soup. The evening social dinner is a set, family-style meal at long communal tables, including locals and other travellers - a highly recommended experience. Breakfast is a la carte (additional charge of 125 DKK) and includes granola, sourdough bread, yogurt, and coffee. The bar area serves coffee and drinks throughout the day.
