HOTEL RELAIS ACROPOLIS NICE, Nice

The hotel is ideally placed for both leisure and business travellers. The Acropolis Tram stop (lines T1 and T2) is directly outside, providing direct connections to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (under 30 minutes, 1.50€) and the main train station (10 minutes). The beach is a 20-minute walk, and the vibrant Old Town with its shops, restaurants and the Cours Saleya market is within a 10-minute stroll. A park (Coulée verte) immediately adjacent offers a pleasant green corridor into the city centre. Numerous restaurants, a Carrefour supermarket and fruit shops are all within a few hundred metres. The A8 motorway is a 10-minute drive, and the Acropolis Convention Centre is just 150 metres away.

Room sizes are compact, best suited for short stays or solo travellers. Each room features air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries (shampoo and body wash). The hotel provides daily housekeeping. Some rooms have a view of the street or inner courtyard; none have a balcony. Soundproofing is limited - noise from adjacent rooms, hallways, and street traffic can be audible. Lighting relies on bedside lamps; there is no central ceiling light. Rooms do not include a kettle, mini-fridge, or safe. The lift serves all floors but stops between levels, requiring a short flight of stairs to reach some rooms.

The breakfast buffet is continental: bread, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. Hot items (e.g., boiled eggs) are self-prepared. The cost is 13.50€ per person if not included in the room rate, payable at the hotel. There is no restaurant, bar, or room service. A self-serve coffee machine is available in the breakfast room - free during breakfast hours, with a charge after 10:30. Several restaurants and a supermarket are within a short walk for other meals.

The hotel offers a range of practical services: free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas, a 24-hour front desk for late arrivals, free luggage storage (ideal for exploring after check-out), and a concierge service. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an extra charge. A paid shuttle service can be arranged (no airport shuttle - use tram or taxi). Safety deposit boxes are available at reception (fee). The lift provides access to all floors but requires navigating a step at the entrance and a short staircase between the lift and some rooms. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. The hotel is non-smoking throughout. Business guests can use the fax/photocopying service (fee). Accepted credit cards include American Express.
