The surrounding streets are lined with bars, shops, and restaurants - La Rollerie, a cafe ideal for breakfast, is directly below. For car users, the nearest private parking (€25/day) is a 10-15 minute walk, with no unloading zone on the busy street; luggage storage at the hostal allows you to drop bags before parking.

Rooms are functional and air-conditioned with central heating, parquet flooring, and modern interior decoration. Some rooms include a hydro-massage shower and a private sun terrace, while standard rooms have a bathtub with a fixed shower head. Rooms can be small, particularly the singles, with limited wardrobe and luggage space. Beds are firm, which suits some but not all. Soundproofing is minimal - thin walls mean noise from neighbouring rooms, the hallway, and the reception area can travel easily. Light sleepers should request a quiet interior-facing room. Daily housekeeping is provided, and towels are replaced when left on the bathroom floor.

The hostal does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant, but the central location puts dozens of eateries within a short walk. A vending machine dispenses drinks in the lounge. For breakfast, the cafe-bar La Rollerie is directly below the building, and cafes such as Zenith Brunch (10 minutes on foot) offer fuller menus. No room fridge or kettle is standard, so plan accordingly for hot drinks.
