The immediate neighbourhood is predominantly residential and is not a central tourist area. The Estrel Convention Center is a few minutes away. Practical daily needs - supermarkets and a wider selection of restaurants - are not within easy walking distance and generally require the U-Bahn or a bus. Street parking may be possible but is not guaranteed and is not free for long stays. The area is considered less polished than central districts, but the proximity to public transport makes it functional for a base: the U-Bahn provides direct routes to Alexanderplatz and other key areas in about 25-30 minutes.

Accommodation options include single, double, and triple rooms. The double rooms have a sofa bed that opens for an extra guest - the third bed is a sofa bed. Triple rooms offer 3 beds. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hairdryer, a seating area, a wardrobe, and heating. There is no air conditioning; a ceiling fan is provided. Rooms on the top floor (accessed by lift but require a half-flight of stairs) may be smaller. Sound insulation between rooms is limited - noise from neighbours or the street can be an issue, especially for rooms facing the road. The views vary; some rooms overlook a cemetery, which is quiet, while others face the street. Bedding is standard; some guests find the synthetic sheets to cause sweating. Basic toiletries (a 3-in-1 gel) are provided; there is no kettle, cups, or fridge in the room.

The breakfast buffet provides typical continental options with bread, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, and hot drinks. The quality is generally considered satisfactory for a standard buffet, though the price of €17 is often seen as high relative to the variety offered. The hotel bar is open around the clock and stocks a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as packaged snacks. There are no restaurant facilities for lunch or dinner on-site. Nearby dining is very limited within a short walk; the closest options are a couple of restaurants (Mehana Balgaran at 0.5 km, El Toro at 1 km) and an Indian restaurant a minute away.

WiFi is free and available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in/check-out and luggage storage at no extra cost. Private on-site parking is available at €15 per day but requires a reservation and has limited spaces - the lot is secure (gated). Pets are allowed at a rate of €8 per day. The hotel has a lift, but it reaches only between floors, so guests on the top floor need to climb a half-flight of stairs. Meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Cots are provided on request. The hotel does not offer daily room cleaning unless requested at reception; towels and waste bins are not automatically refreshed for longer stays.
