The neighbourhood is packed with restaurants, bars, and Spätis (corner shops), making it convenient for eating out. Public parking is available in a multi-storey garage next to the mall at a low daily rate. Berlin Brandenburg Airport can be reached in about 40 minutes via the U7 and S-Bahn. The area is lively and generally safe, though some side streets can feel less busy at night.

Each room has parquet floors, a seating area, and a wardrobe. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are generally spacious - family rooms can accommodate up to four people, and apartments include three bedrooms and a balcony. All bathrooms are private with a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. The hotel is older, and the public corridors may show wear (carpet stains, dated decor), but the rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained. Noise insulation between rooms is limited, so light sleepers should request a top-floor or courtyard-facing room. There is no air conditioning, but windows open and the heating works well. Some rooms have a refrigerator or coffee machine - availability varies. Housekeeping is offered daily but may be inconsistent; it is advisable to ask at reception if you need fresh towels or supplies.
