ISSYUKU HIGASHIUENO HOTEL, Tokyo

The property is situated 800 metres from Ueno Station and also close to Okachimachi Station, providing direct access to JR lines, the Ginza subway line, and the Oedo subway line - making it easy to reach Asakusa, Akihabara, and central Tokyo. Shitaya Shrine is a 4-minute walk away, and Matsuzakaya Ueno is 700 metres from the property. The surrounding streets are quiet and safe to walk even late at night, while the Ameyoko Shopping Street and Ueno Park (with its museums and temples) are within a 5- to 10-minute stroll. A small park sits directly in front of the building, adding a local feel.

Units are well laid out, typically offering one or two separate bedrooms plus a living area and a dining table for up to four people. Each apartment includes a private entrance, air conditioning, soundproof walls, a private bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower, and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and basic cookware. The rooms are modestly sized but efficiently arranged, with sufficient space to open suitcases. Tatami flooring and garden views add a calm atmosphere. The building has no elevator, so those on upper floors must use stairs - a ground-floor unit (Room 102) is available for easier access and is recommended for wheelchair users or those with heavy luggage.

Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle, cookware), allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Within a 1-minute walk, a 7-Eleven offers snacks, drinks, and ready-to-eat items, with a park directly opposite providing a pleasant spot for eating. The neighbourhood is packed with dining options: at least eight restaurants are within 300 metres, including Japanese, Italian, and sake bars. The Ameyoko Shopping Street, a 5-minute walk away, is lined with food stalls, izakayas, and affordable eateries. For those preferring a fuller meal to take away, a coin laundry and a drugstore are also right around the corner.

There is no pool, spa, gym, or other on-site wellness facility. The primary outdoor leisure option is the small park immediately in front of the property, which features a playground - suitable for families with young children. For more substantial recreation, Ueno Park (about a 10-minute walk away) offers expansive green space, walking paths, museums, a zoo, and teahouses.
