The hotel is a short walk from the Iriya exit of JR Ueno Station, giving direct access to the Yamanote Line, Shinkansen, and several metro lines. Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, and major museums are within a 10-minute walk; Asakusa is about 15 minutes on foot. The surrounding area is lively with convenience stores, restaurants, and Ecute Ueno shopping mall (8-minute walk). From Narita Airport: take the Keisei Skyliner to Keisei Ueno Station, then a 3-minute walk. From Haneda: take the monorail from Hamamatsucho (accessed via Ueno Station). The street itself is quiet, but the neighbourhood is busy and well-connected.

All rooms include a private bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, free toiletries, bathrobes, and a coffee machine. Soundproofing is effective even on busier roads. Room sizes are very small by Tokyo standards; a double with loft bed suits solo travellers or couples. For three adults, the triple room is the correct choice, though space remains tight and luggage may need to be opened on the bed. Alternative pillows are available in the lobby. Some rooms show signs of age; if sensitivity to dust or odour is a concern, requesting a higher floor or modern room may improve comfort. Daily housekeeping is on request.

Breakfast (6:30-10:00) includes rice, miso soup, grilled fish, sausages, croissants, bread, fruit, and juice. Seating is limited (about 15 places), so arriving early is recommended; bento boxes can be taken away if the area is overcrowded. In the evening, the same space becomes a free open bar offering sake, shochu, wine, beer, and soft drinks, plus rice and miso soup. A vending machine for drinks is also on-site. Nearby restaurants are plentiful within a 5-minute walk, but the hotel's inclusive dining options provide good value.

From 5:00 to 9:00 pm, the lobby bar serves complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including sake, shochu, wine, and beer) along with rice and miso soup - a social way to unwind after sightseeing. For additional relaxation, various massages (back, foot, full body, head, neck, couples) are available at an extra charge. There is no pool, gym, or onsen, but Ueno Park and a public bath are within walking distance.

Internet access is confirmed. Luggage storage is free on check-in and check-out days; extended storage costs ¥1000 per day. Luggage forwarding via Yamato can be arranged. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are on the 2nd floor, with free detergent provided. Daily housekeeping is on request; fresh towels and bottled water are left at the door.
