Minowa Station provides a direct link to the city centre and key tourist areas, making the property a practical base for budget-conscious travellers who do not mind a commuter journey of around 20-30 minutes to central attractions. Tokyo Haneda Airport is 23 km away, reachable via train and metro.

Rooms are compact but functional, equipped with air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a sofa in some configurations. Beds are simple, with a thin mattress on a low wooden platform; this setup may not suit those with back issues. Street-facing rooms have a quiet street view, and a few upper rooms offer a view of the Skytree. However, many rooms have a fixed, unopenable window, leading to poor ventilation. Several basement or ground-floor rooms have been noted for dampness, mould odours, and musty smells that air conditioning and dehumidifiers cannot fully resolve. Soundproofing is minimal, and noise from corridors and other guests can travel into rooms. A lift serves all floors.

The offered breakfast consists of a small fixed portion: a bag containing one white roll, one chocolate roll, and a croissant, served with butter, blueberry jam, and instant coffee. Hot soup is sometimes available. The quality is basic and portion sizes are fixed. The shared kitchen on the first floor includes a kettle, toaster oven, and free tea. Several convenience stores and inexpensive local restaurants (ramen, rice bowls) are within a 2-3 minute walk, offering a practical alternative for lunch and dinner.

Leisure facilities are modest. The shared lounge provides a TV, sofa seating, and a small collection of Japanese manga. A roof terrace is accessible for relaxation or smoking during permitted hours (8:00-22:00). Board games and puzzles are available. The surrounding residential neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant for walks, with Asakusa's temples, parks, and shopping streets within a 15-minute walk.

The front desk is staffed from 8:00 to 23:00; outside those hours, express check-in/out and late arrivals can be arranged in advance.
