JAX INN, Jacksonville

The Jax Inn sits 9 km from the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, and Museum of Science & History. Amtrak Station-Jax is also 9 km away. Jacksonville International Airport is 23 km from the property. Free on-site parking is available, making it a car-dependent location. The immediate area is unsafe, with reported drug dealing, prostitution, and violent incidents, including fights in the parking lot. Walking in the neighborhood is not recommended during evening hours.

The only on-site dining option is a poolside bar. There is no restaurant or breakfast offered at the hotel. Guests will need to rely on nearby restaurants or bring their own food. The poolside bar allows drinks, but food is not available on the property.

Free private parking is available on site without reservation. A 24-hour front desk operates, but service is inconsistent: requests for room changes or maintenance are often refused or ignored, and towels must be requested. There is no internet access or laundry facilities. A $20 deposit is required at check-in, but refunds are frequently withheld, making payment by credit card advisable for additional consumer protections. Staff behavior is described as rude and unhelpful, a significant operational issue.
