Joe Backpackers does not operate its own restaurant or bar. The shared kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, hot plates, and cooking utensils-useful for preparing basic meals. There is also a vending machine for drinks. Around 0.5 km from the hostel, you will find several small eateries and cafes. For self-catering, convenience stores such as Lawson and 7-Eleven are within a 2-4 minute walk, and a large basic shopping centre is nearby.

On-site leisure is limited to the shared lounge and TV area, which also serves as a social meeting point with a lively atmosphere.
