Kona Kai Resort And Gallery (Adults Only) is located on the Florida Keys, 100 km from Miami International. It offers 13 rooms and suites that resemble private beach bungalows. The decor features a pastel color palette with white wooden blinds, cabinetry, hand-painted nightstands, and wooden headboards. Rooms include climate control and Wi-Fi. Kona Kai features a botanical garden with 42 species of palms and cycads, 26 tropical fruit trees, and over 40 varieties of bromeliads. Guests have access to a private beach with hammocks, a cove for wildlife viewing, swimming and kayaking, a dock, a freshwater pool and jacuzzi, five open-air tikis, charcoal grills, a tennis court, a pickleball court, shuffleboard, ping pong, and corn hole. Kayaks and paddleboards are available. The resort also offers yoga sessions. There's an art gallery showcasing local and visiting artists. Caribbean Watersports activities, including parasailing, Enviro-Tours, Eco Tours, sailing tours, sunset cruises and snorkeling tours, are available.

Kona Kai is located off US-1 in Key Largo, near Tavernier and Islamorada. Nearby landmarks include Shell World (1 km), Key Largo Community Park (3 km), and Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder (2 km). John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, suitable for snorkeling and hiking, is nearby. The Botanic Gardens at Kona Kai Resort are 0.3 km away.

Kona Kai provides a sunning beach, a waterfront freshwater pool, a waterfront freshwater jacuzzi, beach towels and chairs, in-room fruit baskets, daily housekeeping, in-room water bottles and coffee, a filter water cooler, self-parking, onsite boat trailer parking, and dockage for $45 per night (limited space).
