The waterbus stop for line 2 (linking to the train station and Rialto) is very close; Venice Santa Lucia Station is about a 12-minute waterbus ride or a 20-minute walk. Major landmarks, shopping streets (Fondaco dei Tedeschi, Merceria Orologio), and cultural sites (Teatro Fenice, Ca' d'Oro) are within a short stroll. The area has a wealth of restaurants, including Harry's Bar, Antica Osteria Ruga Rialto, and several cicchetterie.

Rooms are in the Venetian style with antique furniture, glass lamps, and fabrics from the Rubelli collection. Double rooms are compact (some described as very small); the Standard Double is on the first floor, while the Classic Double options are on floors 2-4 with twin/double bed options. The Standard with Rooftop (fifth floor) is a highlight: it includes an exclusive private terrace (altana) with views of the rooftops and domes of St. Mark's. Triple and quadruple rooms (named Curry, Cinnamon, Zafferano) offer quiet views of a Venetian calle. The property is soundproofed, though some rooms facing internal features can experience noise.

A continental breakfast can be booked at the time of reservation (12 EUR) and is served at a café a few steps away. The property does not have its own restaurant or bar, but the reception staff provide recommendations for local cicchetti bars and restaurants. A coffee machine in the common area offers free espresso. For a wider meal selection, the surrounding streets offer dozens of dining options - from casual pasta spots to fine dining - within a 2-5 minute walk. Note that breakfast must be expressly selected when booking; it is not automatically included in all rates.

The property is a historic guesthouse in central Venice. No spa, swimming pool, or wellness centre.
