Located 2 blocks from McGill University and a 10-minute walk from Place des Arts, the hotel sits in a central area that is also a 25-minute walk from Mont-Royal Park. The McGill Subway Station is just 5 minutes away, providing direct access across the city, including routes to Bell Centre and the Port of Montreal. Several cafés and restaurants (Aroma, Café Imagination, House of Jazz, Pikolo Espresso Bar) are within a 0.3-0.5 km radius. For longer trips, a flat-rate taxi to the airport costs CAD 41; no airport shuttle is available. Private parking is located across the street (CAD 25/day) but is narrow and better suited to small sedans - larger vehicles may find the garage challenging.

Each suite includes a flat-screen TV with cable, a large hardwood desk, and a kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, microwave and cookware. Bedrooms are separated by a door in one-bedroom suites; two-bedroom suites offer two beds plus a sofa bed. Extra beds are available for CAD 20/night. Most two-bedroom suites (with one exception) have balcony access. Rooms are air-conditioned and carpeted; however, the air-conditioning units can be noisy, and the property overall is older with dated decor and furniture. Sound insulation is limited - noise from neighbouring rooms, hallways and street traffic can be audible, especially for rooms facing the road. Lighting in rooms can feel dim. Sofa beds are reported as uncomfortable (worn mattresses). Rooms are spacious but vary in condition; those on high floors tend to have better city views and less noise.

Breakfast is included and offers a self-serve continental buffet with breads, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and some gluten-free options available on request. The breakfast room is small relative to the number of guests, which can lead to crowding and queues, particularly after 8 AM. Service hours are 6:30-9:30 AM on weekdays and 7-10 AM on weekends. Since there is no restaurant on site, guests can use the in-suite kitchenette to prepare meals; several cafés and supermarkets are within a short walk for additional options. The hotel does have a coffee shop on the premises.

The indoor pool is located on the 16th floor (accessed via stairs, not elevator) and measures 8'x20' with a shallow end, pool cover, sun loungers, and pool/beach towels. It is open daily from 6:30 AM to 10 PM. The water is heated but can feel cool in winter months. The pool area can become crowded, and the water has been noted as occasionally cloudy. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and includes basic equipment. An on-site herb garden and a sun terrace with city views add to the leisure offering. No spa or sauna is available.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. Luggage storage is available at no charge, helpful for early arrivals or late departures. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late check-in (buzzer after hours). A self-service laundry room is available for a fee. Daily housekeeping is included; however, consistency may vary - requesting specific service at check-in is advisable. Business services include meeting/banquet facilities and fax/photocopying, all free. Safety deposit boxes are located at the front desk. Pets are allowed free of charge (request pet-friendly room when booking). The hotel has two small elevators that serve all 17 floors; wait times can reach up to 10-15 minutes during peak hours. Accessible parking (electric vehicle charging) is available but the hotel is not wheelchair-accessible - there are steps at the entrance and no adapted bathrooms or rooms.
