LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM COLORADO SPRINGS NORTH, Pikeview

The hotel is located just off I-25, roughly 21 km from Colorado Springs Airport and within easy driving distance to Palmer Park (11 km), Garden of the Gods (14 km), and the US Air Force Academy. The immediate area is a commercial corridor with access to a large variety of restaurants, fast-food chains, and a Walmart within walking distance. The property is situated near an Indian restaurant, so the parking lot frequently carries that aroma. Driving is the most practical way to reach local attractions, and the free on-site parking makes car use convenient. The hotel entrance on Voyager Parkway requires a u-turn from the southbound I-25 ramp, which can be unintuitive on first arrival.

Breakfast is included with your stay. On a good day, the spread includes scrambled eggs, sausage links or patties, potatoes, waffle makers, cereals, muffins, yogurt, and coffee. On other days, the hot items can be limited or run out - sometimes as early as 7 AM - without being replenished. The breakfast staff and executive chef receive mixed mentions for attentiveness and attitude. There is no restaurant or bar on-site, but a Bright Side Market sells snacks and travel essentials, and a vending machine is available for drinks and snacks. A wide variety of restaurants are within walking distance, including McDonald's, Cracker Barrel, and Urban Tandoor.

WiFi is free and available throughout the property. Free private on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservation possible. Parking includes accessible spaces. The front desk is staffed 24/7, and express check-in/check-out is available. Luggage storage is free. Daily housekeeping is free but must be requested; it is not automatically provided. Laundry services are available for an additional charge. Pets are allowed with a flat fee. The property features a lift, and certain accessibility features are available, such as wheelchair-accessible rooms, lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. A minimarket and shared lounge/TV area are on-site.
