MICROTEL INN AND SUITES PUEBLO, Pueblo

The hotel sits right off the interstate (I-25) and Pueblo Boulevard, making it easy to access the freeway for north- or southbound travel. Lake Minnequa is about 2 km away. Lake Pueblo State Park, Walking Stick Golf Course, and Elmwood Golf Course are within roughly 13 km. The Colorado State Fairgrounds and the Pueblo Convention Center are a short drive. Pueblo Memorial Airport is 18 km away. The immediate area is near several restaurants and retail options, including a grocery store about 2 km away. The property has well-lit parking but the surrounding site can feel sketchy after dark; the building locks its doors late at night. Free public parking is available on site without a reservation, though space for oversized vehicles is limited or absent.

All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, a seating area, a work desk, ironing facilities, and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a coffee machine. The double rooms feature one double bed, the quadruple rooms have two beds, and suites include a sofa bed plus a microwave and refrigerator. Some rooms have carpeted floors. Room size is compact in standard rooms but the space is adequate for a short stay. The property is older and dated in spots; some rooms show visible wear such as stained upholstery or peeling AC trim. Beds vary: many find them comfortable, while some describe them as soft or worn. Noise can be an issue from adjoining rooms and the hallway due to thin partition walls. Room 214 and 216 have access to a shared roof area via windows. There are no rooms with a balcony.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, hot tub, spa, or fitness centre. For leisure activities, guests can visit Lake Pueblo State Park (about 13 km away) for picnicking, boating, and hiking, or the Pueblo Family Fun Center for go-karts and an arcade. Golf courses including Elmwood Golf Course and Walking Stick Golf Course are within a short drive. The Colorado State Fairgrounds is nearby and hosts the annual Colorado State Fair.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas and the signal is generally good enough for streaming. Free public parking is on site with no reservation needed. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in and general enquiries. Guest laundry facilities are available (additional charge). A business centre (additional charge) offers fax/photocopying and dry cleaning services. Daily housekeeping is provided. Pets are allowed with an applicable fee, and the property has grassy areas for dogs. The hotel is accessible, with a lift and facilities for disabled guests. Safety deposit boxes are available for an additional charge. No airport shuttle service is provided. Cash is not accepted at check-in - only a valid credit card and matching ID. Check-out is at 11:00.
