LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM NASHVILLE FRANKLIN, Franklin

The hotel sits off I-65, putting downtown Nashville about a 25-30 minute drive depending on traffic, and Franklin's historic district is a short drive away. Cool Springs Galleria is 10 minutes by car. Several chain restaurants (Cracker Barrel, Steak 'n Shake, KFC, Wendy's) are within walking distance. Free on-site parking is available, but there is no airport or local shuttle service, so a car or ride-share is essential for exploring the area.

The property is partially renovated, and newer rooms are clean, spacious, and well-designed with comfortable beds, large flat-screen TVs, and good lighting. Older rooms have been reported as dirty, poorly maintained, and smelly, with issues like broken fixtures, lack of housekeeping, and noise from the highway. All rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a coffee maker. Some rooms include a microwave and mini-fridge, but none have full kitchens or balconies. Road-facing rooms can be very noisy, so light sleepers should request a room away from the highway.

The free breakfast is a continental style with make-your-own waffles, cold cereal, bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs, and fruit. Juice and coffee are provided, but the selection is basic and can run out during busy times. There is no hot breakfast meat, and the quality is often described as minimal. Since there is no on-site restaurant, guests needing a full meal can walk to several chain restaurants nearby, such as Cracker Barrel or Steak 'n Shake.

Free WiFi is available throughout, though some have reported slow or unreliable connections. Free on-site parking requires no reservation. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late check-ins and express check-in/out. On-site laundry facilities are available for a fee. A business center is provided. Accessible rooms with roll-in showers and grab bars are available. Pets are allowed for a $20 per pet, per night fee (max 2). Safety features include CCTV, key card access, safety deposit box, and smoke alarms. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are on-site.
