La Pedrera is 100 m away, Casa Batlló is 600 m, and Plaça Catalunya is about 1 km. The area is considered safe for walking at any hour, with numerous restaurants and shops on the same block. The nearest airport is Barcelona El Prat, 13 km away; the metro connects directly to the airport via line L9 from Zona Universitària station. The open-top bus stop is around the corner. For those driving, public parking is available within a 500 m walk.

Standard double rooms are compact with only a bed and two bedside tables; they lack a desk or chair for working. Quadruple rooms use three beds (often 4 singles in most rooms, or 1 double + 2 singles in a few). Superior rooms and top-floor apartments offer much more space: some have separate living areas, a kitchenette with full-size fridge, stovetop, microwave and utensils, plus a private terrace with city or garden views. Some rooms on the first floor have windows that do not close fully, letting in street noise from the bar opposite - road-facing rooms can be noisy. Rooms on upper floors are quieter. Soundproofing between rooms is not great. The air conditioning is reported to be weak or not working in several units, especially during warmer months. Daily housekeeping is provided.
