HOTEL CASA TRAFALGAR BARCELONA, Barcelona

The hotel sits directly on Plaza Urquinaona, putting you within a 2-minute walk of Plaza Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, and the Aerobus stop to the airport. Urquinaona metro station (L1 and L4) is steps from the door, and a bus stop is right in front. Most major attractions, the Gothic Quarter, and La Rambla are within a 10-15 minute walk. The area is lined with restaurants, bars, and shops, and is well-lit and safe at all hours. The building vibrates slightly as the metro passes beneath, but standard interior rooms remain very quiet.

There is no restaurant or formal breakfast service at the hotel. Instead, a well-stocked kitchenette on the first floor is available around the clock at no extra cost, offering coffee, tea, milk, a selection of packaged pastries and biscuits, fresh fruit, and bottled water. A fridge and microwave are provided for guest use. This setup works well as a light breakfast or snack throughout the day. For full meals, an excellent range of restaurants and tapas bars are within a 1-minute walk, including Cullera de Boix, La Ronda, and Bing Bing Cafe, all within 0.5 km.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. The free common-area snack kitchenette and the lively location are the main leisure features. Guests can easily walk to all city attractions, including the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, and the beach area (about 20-25 minutes on foot).

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Reception is staffed from around 08:00 to 16:00; outside these hours, check-in is handled via a self-service box with detailed instructions. Luggage storage is available free of charge both before check-in and after check-out. Express check-in/out, private check-in/out, and a tour desk are provided. The building has a lift (elevator), though it can be noisy when the doors close. A minimarket is on site, and an ATM/cash machine is nearby. Room cleaning is provided daily, though some report towel changes only. No room safes, shuttle service, or pets are allowed. Payment is accepted by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and UnionPay.
