The hotel sits on a quiet alley, Calle Priuli dei Cavalletti, directly off the street leading from the station. This position makes arrival and departure seamless, avoiding the need to drag luggage over stairs and bridges. Cannaregio is lively but peaceful at night, with a supermarket, numerous restaurants, and bars within a few steps. St. Mark's Square is about 15 minutes by vaporetto or a 30-minute walk via atmospheric backstreets. The Jewish Ghetto, one of the oldest in Europe, is minutes away on foot. For cruise passengers at the port, take the People Mover monorail from Piazzale Roma to the ship terminal; Piazzale Roma is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, bidet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Each room is air-conditioned, soundproofed, and equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, tea/coffee kettle, safe, wardrobe, and free Wi-Fi. The Superior and Triple room categories are slightly larger, with the Triple including a bathtub and a desk. Standard Double rooms are carpeted, while Superior rooms have a fresh modern style. No rooms have a balcony or a refrigerator. Some rooms are situated on the third floor under the roof, with characterful skylights but more stairs to climb.

Breakfast is a continental buffet offering bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, jam, butter, and hot beverages. It costs 15 EUR per person per day if not included in your rate. The buffet is managed by staff who are attentive to replenishing items. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding Cannaregio streets are filled with eateries and trattorias within a 3-minute walk, many of which serve Venetian cicchetti and fresh seafood.
