The hostel sits in the heart of La Latina, a lively area known for its tapas bars and Sunday flea market (El Rastro). Major landmarks are easily reachable on foot: Plaza Mayor (1 km), the Royal Palace (2 km), and the Prado Museum (2 km). Acacias metro station (lines 3 and 5) is a short walk away, providing direct connections to Atocha train station and the city centre. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 15 km from the property, accessible by metro or taxi. The immediate street can feel active at night, and some sections near the entrance are occupied by people sleeping rough.

All rooms are mixed dorms, each with its own private bathroom (toilets, showers, and sinks). Some rooms have two separate bathrooms to reduce wait times. Beds are comfortable and come with curtains for privacy, a reading light, and a power socket. The free lockers inside the room fit a cabin bag (10 kg), but larger luggage can be stored in paid lockers (€0.50/hr). Dorm sizes vary, and smaller rooms can feel cramped if multiple people are unpacking. Noise levels depend on other guests; street-facing rooms may experience traffic noise, and internal noise from bathrooms (especially toilets) can be heard from adjacent bunks. The rooms have air conditioning and heating, but ventilation can be poor, leading to warmth and musty smells. Motion-sensor lights in the common dorm area activate with movement, which can wake light sleepers. Taller travellers should note that some beds may measure slightly under 2 metres.
