The property sits in the heart of Madrid in a neighbourhood filled with bars, restaurants and shops. Gran Via is reachable in under a 15-minute walk, and Plaza de España Metro Station is 1 km away. The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a 16-minute stroll. The street itself can be busy at night with a bar opposite and early-morning rubbish collection, so rooms facing the street tend to be noisier than those facing the courtyard. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 17 km away and easily reachable by metro (line 10 a few blocks away) for around €5.

Rooms range from singles to doubles and triples. While some rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and good bathrooms, the majority of rooms are very small - often just enough space for the bed, with minimal luggage storage. Room sizes and noise levels vary considerably: some face a courtyard (very dark, little natural light) while others face the street (noise from nightlife and early refuse trucks). Soundproofing is extremely poor; normal conversation from adjacent rooms is clearly audible. Some rooms have a balcony with double-pane doors that reduce outside noise. Air conditioning and heating are available, and all rooms include a private bathroom with shower, a wardrobe and a TV. A fridge is provided in some rooms. Bedding is synthetic, which can cause sweating in warmer months.

The shared lounge area has a coffee machine, kettle, and a small supply of pastries (madeleines, cake) and toast. Availability is inconsistent - supplies may run out, coffee pods may be missing, and milk is not always provided (only black coffee). There is no cooked breakfast or full meal service. The property is surrounded by dozens of restaurants and cafés within a few minutes' walk on Fuencarral and neighbouring streets, offering everything from tapas to sushi. A supermarket and a 24-hour minimarket are also close by for self-catering.

WiFi is available free of charge in all rooms, but speeds can be very slow - streaming or video calls may not work properly. A lift is available, though it is narrow and unsuitable for mechanical wheelchairs, with a steep ramp access. Luggage storage is offered via coin-operated lockers (€2 for 24 hours) and can only be used during staffed reception hours (10:00-19:00). There is no reception after 19:00, so collecting luggage after that time is not possible. Cleaning is not automatically performed daily; it must be requested. A security deposit and a cleaning fee are charged separately after booking. Parking is available off-site at €19 per day, reservation not possible. No pets allowed.
