The hotel sits on 49th Street, just off Broadway and a one-minute walk from the C/E lines at 50th Street. It is also two blocks from the 1 train at 50th Street and the N/R/W lines at 49th Street. Rockefeller Center is a two-and-a-half minute walk, and the Theatre District is right outside. The immediate area is dense with restaurants-Carmine's, Gallagher's, Times Square Diner-all within 0.3-0.5 km. The location is ideal for tourists and event-goers, but the street noise from sirens and passersby can be significant, and the west side of the hotel faces active construction.

Standard rooms are approximately 12 m², with some even smaller-bathroom space is extremely tight, with narrow clearance past the toilet in certain configurations. Queen beds are available only in west-facing rooms that directly face the construction site; full-size beds are in smaller, quieter but still noisy east-facing rooms. Windows are single-pane and do not seal noise out effectively. Rooms on lower floors may have brick-wall views. A few rooms are windowless or face dark walls. The carpet in hallways is being replaced, causing additional daytime noise. Air conditioning and ironing facilities are standard.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. The lobby offers a self-service beverage station with free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate around the clock. Guests planning a full morning meal will find numerous dining options within a three- to five-minute walk, including Times Square Diner & Grill (breakfast), Toloache (Mexican), Gallagher's Steak House, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Most nearby eateries are open for lunch and dinner, but some are not open early for breakfast.
