MIHOTEL SALA, Lyon

The property sits in a safe, central neighbourhood near Place Bellecour and the Rhône and Saône quays. Musée Miniature et Cinéma is less than 1 km away, and Lyon Perrache Train Station is an 11-minute walk. The Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière are also within easy reach. Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is 28 km away, accessible by tram or taxi. Several public car parks are within a 5-minute walk, but no on-site parking is available; the surrounding streets are cobblestone and can be challenging with luggage. Numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés are within a 300-metre radius, and a supermarket is just around the corner.

The suites are large and well-equipped with a private bathroom (walk-in shower, bath, or both), free toiletries, and bathrobes. Many include a fireplace, hot tub, or spa bath. The interior design is modern and dark-themed, often in black, with dimmable lighting and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Each suite has a kitchenette or full kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee maker). Bed sizes range from one to three beds, with the Balançoire and Grenat suites accommodating up to four people. The Onyx suite features a separate toilet. However, windows face an inner courtyard with a wall very close by, providing no natural daylight; windows cannot be opened. Some units have a terrace or balcony. The property is a few steps above ground level with no lift. For quieter stays, suites Sequoia and Dandelion are recommended.

Breakfast is available for an additional charge of 29 € per person and includes a continental buffet or a breakfast-to-go option, delivered to the suite. The breakfast selection is basic (bread, pastries, hot drinks) and may not vary from day to day. For more variety, the surrounding streets offer numerous restaurants, crêperies, and wine bars within a 300-metre walk. The suite also contains a minibar with drinks and snacks, and a supermarket is a short walk away.

Select suites include a spa bath or hot tub. The property offers paid services such as massage (back, neck, foot, full body, couples), personal trainer sessions, fitness classes, yoga classes, and aerobics. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge to explore the city.
