About the Hotel

3 Rue Du Belier, Lyon, 69002-
Close to the Textile Arts Museum

Key Highlights

Located directly next to Lyon Perrache TGV train station and the Perrache tram, metro, and bus terminal-1-3 minutes on foot.

24-hour reception and 24-hour security allow flexible arrivals and departures, including late-night check-in after midnight.

All rooms have a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and heating; daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost.

Free luggage storage is available, and the hotel offers express check-in/check-out and an elevator to upper floors.

Breakfast is a continental buffet served each morning for a supplement of 10 euros, with nearby cafés and restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk as an alternative.

Hotel Details

Location

The hotel is situated directly beside Lyon Perrache TGV station, placing trams, metro, and the main bus terminal within a 1-3 minute walk.
The hotel sits less than 100 metres from Lyon Perrache TGV station, making it a top choice for travellers arriving by high-speed train, bus, or using the tram and metro networks. Place Bellecour, the main square, is a 19-minute walk, and the old town and historic centre are about 10-15 minutes on foot. Confluence Museum is 2 km away. The property is close to the Rhône and Saône rivers and adjacent to a bus depot. The immediate area around the station has street performers and bars, which can be noisy at night, and a recycling station is located next to the building-rooms facing away from these noise sources offer a quieter stay. Free street parking is available from 19:00 to 09:00.

Accommodation

Rooms are simply decorated with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and heating. Some rooms are spacious; others are compact.
All rooms include a private bathroom with a hairdryer, toiletries, and either a shower or bathtub. The shower cubicle can be very narrow-larger travellers may find it cramped. Each room has a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, heating, and a fan for warmer months; no air conditioning is available. Parquet flooring is fitted in some rooms, while others have carpet that may retain dust. The hotel offers rooms ranging from singles to triples; some are notably larger than average for the price, while others are very compact. Noise insulation between rooms is limited-sounds from neighbours and the corridor travel easily. Road and street-music noise can be an issue if windows are open. Some rooms have limited natural light due to small windows. The building has an elevator serving upper floors. Bike storage is available.

Dining

A continental buffet breakfast is available each morning for a supplement, but the hotel has no restaurant or bar on site.
The breakfast is served in a dining room overlooking the street and consists of a continental buffet with bread, pastries, yoghurt, and hot drinks. The cost is 10 euros per person. The breakfast selection is limited compared to fuller options, and those wanting a heartier or more varied morning meal may find the nearby bakeries and cafés more suitable. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance-Ecailler Chez Georges, Afrika Burger, Mademoiselle Simone, and Le Comptoir are all 0.5 km from the hotel. No dinner or bar service is provided on the premises.

Leisure

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. Leisure options rely on the surrounding city attractions.
There are no wellness or leisure facilities on the property. The location, however, places guests within walking distance of Lyon's main cultural sites: Place Bellecour, the old town, and the Musée des Confluences are easily reachable on foot or by tram. The Perrache station area also provides direct tram access to Parc de la Tête d'Or and other green spaces.

Amenities

Wi-Fi is free across the property, daily housekeeping is included, and luggage storage is available at no charge. Pets are not allowed.
The 24-hour reception provides express check-in/check-out, and the front desk remains staffed around the clock for arrivals and luggage retrieval. Luggage storage is offered free of charge before check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping is included and includes tidying the room and changing towels. The hotel has an elevator, CCTV security, smoke alarms, and a security alarm. Parking is not available on site; free street parking is possible from 19:00 to 09:00 only. The property is not wheelchair accessible. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Carte Bleue, and MasterCard.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a room away from the street and the recycling station at the side of the building to minimize noise disturbance from street music, people, and glass disposal.

  • 02

Use the free luggage storage before check-in or after check-out to explore the city center without carrying bags, and note that while check-out is at 11:00, a late stay until 14:00 is available for an additional fee of 10 euros per hour.

  • 03

Plan your stay around the excellent transit links: the hotel is a 1-3 minute walk from Perrache TGV station, tram, metro, and the main bus terminal, making it ideal for city exploration and onward travel without a car.

  • 04

Factor in that summer rooms can become very hot as there is no air conditioning-only a loud fan is provided; opening the window for cool air will increase noise from the street, so consider travel dates or pack a personal fan.
