MOCA HOTEL, Bangkok

Moca Hotel is located 6 km from Don Mueang International Airport, close enough to walk in about 15 minutes - though the route involves stairs when crossing the main road, a factor to consider with heavy luggage. The immediate area is a lively pocket with a wet market behind the hotel, street-food vendors, massage parlours, a 7-Eleven, and several restaurants. IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is 10 km away, while Central Plaza Ladprao and Chatuchak Weekend Market are 18 and 21 km respectively. For longer journeys, taxis or ride-hailing apps are the practical option; the 24-hour front desk can assist with booking a taxi.

The hotel offers double, twin, and family rooms (the latter sleeping up to four with two beds). Each room includes a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, a work desk, a refrigerator, and a wardrobe. Many rooms are spacious and clean for the price, though some furniture shows signs of wear. A few rooms have reported leaks or ants; the maintenance team addresses these quickly. Noise from the hallway can be audible, so light sleepers should request a room away from high-traffic areas. The electric kettle in each room has no cups provided - bringing your own is recommended. The balcony offers a city view and a quiet spot away from the street.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Luggage storage is offered free of charge, ideal for arrivals before check-in or departures after check-out. The 24-hour front desk handles express check-in and check-out and can arrange taxis to the airport. Daily housekeeping is provided. A shared lounge/TV area and a terrace offer space to relax. Safety features include CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, and key card access. Fax/photocopying is available for an additional charge. The hotel does not operate a shuttle service, but the front desk can assist with taxi bookings for airport transfers.
