Dozens of restaurants - Woody's Grill & Tap, Rice Bowl, Boston Burger Company, Love Art Sushi, and many more - are within a 3- to 5-minute walk, as are CVS, Whole Foods, and a laundromat. The T (subway) provides easy access to the city centre, and the Silver Line bus to Logan Airport is a 10-minute walk. The location is highly walkable for museums, shopping on Newbury Street, and Boston Common (15-20 minutes on foot).

Rooms range from single and twin to double, queen, and triple configurations. All are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, alarm clock, carpeted floors, and heating. Bathroom types vary: rooms listed as 'En Suite' have a private bathroom with walk-in shower; other rooms share hallway bathrooms that are cleaned daily and typically used by only a few rooms. Room sizes are compact - budget doubles and singles are snug - but beds are generally comfortable and cleanliness is consistent. Some rooms open onto shared outdoor terraces. No rooms have a refrigerator, but a shared mini-fridge is available on the ground floor. The property is a historic brownstone with narrow stairs and no elevator, and rooms on upper floors may experience some noise from nearby rooms due to the building's age. The included breakfast offers breads, bagels, pastries, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, orange juice, and milk.
