HOTEL ONIX LICEO, Barcelona

The hotel is in the lively Raval district, within easy walking distance of the Gothic Quarter, Boqueria Market, and the port. Two metro stations - Liceo and Drassanes - are within 5 minutes, providing direct access to Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou, and Park Güell. For airport transfers, the Aerobus stops at Plaça Catalunya, a 10-minute walk away. While the location is excellent for sightseeing, the immediate area can feel less safe late at night, with some streets having a lively nightlife scene. Many restaurants, tapas bars, and a Carrefour Express supermarket are just around the corner.

The hotel does not serve breakfast at this time. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, though each room has a minibar with drinks (chargeable). Guests have access to a 24-hour self-service machine in the lobby offering coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, and cold water. The surrounding streets are filled with cafes, tapas bars, and restaurants within a short walk, including several highly rated options such as Bar Cañete and Guell Tapas, both about 300 metres away.

The unheated pool is located on a sun terrace with loungers and pool towels provided. The terrace is also the only area where smoking is permitted. The pool is a pleasant spot to cool off after a day of sightseeing, though cleanliness has been noted as variable. There is no gym, spa, sauna, or other leisure facilities on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour reception offers luggage storage (free, with lockers), tour desk, and car/bicycle hire. A business centre with computers is free to use; meeting and banquet facilities are available at an additional charge. Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services are offered (charges apply). Safety deposit boxes are accessible at reception 24 hours. The hotel has a lift, daily housekeeping, and a shared lounge/TV area. There is no airport shuttle, but the Aerobus from Plaça Catalunya provides direct service for €7. Payment is accepted by Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard.
