Hotel Details

Location

A 5-minute walk from the Ospedale waterbus stop, this hotel places you in a quiet corner of Venice, a 10-minute stroll from Rialto Bridge and Basilica San Marco.
The hotel sits in a serene residential neighbourhood, well away from the busiest tourist arteries, yet major landmarks such as St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace are within a 15-minute walk. The Ospedale dock, served by the Alilaguna BLU line from the airport and the Line 5.2 waterbus from Santa Lucia train station, is a flat, bridge-free 5-minute walk away. The immediate area is lined with local artisan shops and several well-regarded restaurants within 300 metres, making it practical for both sightseeing and evening dining without needing to venture far.

Accommodation

Spacious, elegantly appointed rooms in a freshly renovated palazzo, each with high ceilings, air conditioning, and soundproofing.
The property offers double rooms and suites, all on one floor. Standard double rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer, plus a work desk, minibar, and flat-screen TV. Suites add a separate seating area, and some include a private terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. Rooms are decorated with fabric-covered walls, Murano glass chandeliers, and parquet floors, creating a palatial feel. Beds are noted for their comfort, and the free minibar (restocked daily) is a practical bonus. The entire property is non-smoking.

Dining

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning, featuring pastries, pancakes, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, and gluten-free options.
Breakfast is a relaxed continental-style affair with a range of items including fresh bread, croissants, cereals, juices, and prosecco. Hot options such as scrambled eggs are also available. The dining area, decorated in the same elegant style as the rooms, offers a calm start to the day. For other meals, the surrounding neighbourhood has a variety of restaurants and trattorias within a 5-minute walk, covering Italian and seafood cuisines.

Wellness and Leisure

The hotel does not have a dedicated spa or gym, but its serene atmosphere and courtyard provide a relaxing retreat.
The property itself is a calm oasis, with a terrace and inner courtyard views from some rooms. For leisure, the quiet residential area and proximity to the Venetian alleys make for pleasant walks. Boating excursions can be arranged directly from the nearby Ospedale dock.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a paid shuttle service are available, along with daily housekeeping and a safety deposit box.
Services include private check-in/check-out, room service, and complimentary luggage storage even after checkout. A paid shuttle can be arranged for transfers. Daily housekeeping keeps the rooms spotless, and the free minibar is a thoughtful feature. Safety is ensured with key card access, CCTV, and smoke alarms. Cots are available on request. The property does not have its own parking.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a suite with a private terrace for the most immersive Venetian palace experience and extra space.

  • 02

Use the Alilaguna BLU line from Marco Polo Airport to Ospedale stop for a bridge-free 5-minute walk to the hotel.
