Pensione Seguso occupies a prime position on the Giudecca Canal in the historic Dorsoduro district, offering a quieter, more local atmosphere than the crowded tourist hubs. The Accademia Bridge is five minutes on foot, and St. Mark's Square is a pleasant 20-minute walk along the waterfront. The Zattere vaporetto stop (lines 51, 61, N) is just 200 metres away, providing direct access from Marco Polo Airport via Alilaguna (€11) and from Santa Lucia station. A water taxi from the airport costs around €80 and can drop you at the hotel's own mooring. Numerous restaurants, bars, a gelateria, and a supermarket are within a three-minute walk.

Room categories include singles, doubles/twins, and triples, with either private or shared bathrooms - clearly stated at booking. Standard amenities feature air conditioning, heating, ceiling fans, direct-dial phone, TV, wardrobe, and tiled floors. Many rooms overlook the canals, and a few have a balcony (request at booking). Top-floor rooms provide more light and expansive views. While some rooms are compact with a simple, dated decor, others are spacious and bright. Note that windows lack screens, so mosquitoes can be a problem in summer - insect repellent is advisable. Rooms facing the canal may experience water traffic noise; quieter rooms face away.

Breakfast is included in the rate and offers a buffet with bread, pastries, cheese, prosciutto, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, and excellent Italian coffee. Gluten-free options are available upon request. The breakfast room features historic mirrors and a fireplace, creating a tranquil start to the day. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the bar serves drinks and wine/champagne (additional charge). Breakfast in bed can be arranged. The surrounding Dorsoduro streets are filled with excellent dining options within a few minutes' walk.
