The Skylon Tower is less than a minute's walk, and Clifton Hill's attractions, restaurants, and the Niagara City Cruises dock are within 10-15 minutes on foot. Fallsview Casino is a 4-minute walk. Free on-site parking is provided, but spaces are limited; early arrival is recommended. The walk to the falls involves a moderate incline. Public WeGo bus stops are directly opposite the hotel, making car-free exploration practical.

Room types range from standard double and queen rooms to superior king rooms with river views. Some higher-floor rooms (6th/7th) offer partial views of the American Falls - book a river-view category for the best chance. Rooms with in-room hot tubs (King Room with Hot Tub) are available but limited to one unit. Certain rooms have balconies, though not all. Rooms in the main tower are quieter and better maintained; the motel-style annex has exterior doors and less soundproofing, so noise from the parking lot and corridors may be an issue. All rooms have a private bathroom (bathtub with shower), and heating is provided. The property is showing its age - some furniture and carpets may feel outdated, but beds are generally comfortable and linens clean. A community microwave is available in the lobby.

Breakfast may be served as a hot buffet in the dining room or as a bagged meal to go (muffin, apple, juice) depending on operational status. The breakfast staff are noted as friendly and helpful. While the breakfast is considered good value, some find the hot selection basic. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but numerous dining options are within a 2-5 minute walk, including Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Ihop, and the Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room. Coffee and tea are available free of charge near the reception around the clock.

The pool and hot tub are open year-round. During busy periods, a 45-minute time slot may be required - reserve at check-in. The pool area can be accessed via an indoor walkway. Towels are provided for pool use. There is no gym or spa on the property.

Parking is free for one vehicle per room, with an overflow lot at the Skylon Tower if the main lot is full. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late arrivals and luggage storage.
