QUALITY INN & SUITES ANAHEIM MAINGATE, Anaheim

The hotel sits just 1 km from Disneyland Park and is a short drive to Angel Stadium (5 km), Knott's Berry Farm (10 km), the Anaheim Convention Center (3 km), and Anaheim GardenWalk (3 km). The Anaheim Packing District is within a 10-minute walk, offering over 20 restaurants, live music, and an outdoor event area. For non-Disney trips, the convention center is a 30-40 minute walk; Uber/Lyft are widely available. Interstate 5 provides quick car access to Santa Ana Zoo (15-minute drive) and other Orange County attractions. The area is walkable for dining, but a Lyft to Disneyland's parking garage costs around $6-11 and avoids the mile-long walk over a freeway overpass. The ART shuttle pickup is a block away but service can be inconsistent in peak times.

Room types include King Bed (up to 3 guests, with sofa sleeper), King Bed with Whirlpool Tub (NKJ), Queen Bed, 2 Queen Beds (up to 4 guests), 2 Queen Beds Suite (with sofa sleeper, up to 6 guests), and 3 Queen Beds. All rooms feature a private bathroom with bath and shower, hairdryer, safe, work desk, iron/board, and clock radio. Select rooms offer a sleeper sofa or whirlpool tub. The rooms are generally spacious and comfortable, especially noted for families. Rooms with a balcony are not available. Some rooms may show signs of wear, and road-facing rooms can be noisier; light sleepers may prefer higher floors or rooms away from the street. The property is fully wheelchair accessible with ADA-compliant rooms, grab bars, bathtub seats, and visual alarms.

The breakfast area can become busy; staff replenish items regularly, though during peak times items may run out temporarily. The hotel has no restaurant on-site for other meals, but numerous dining options are within walking distance, including Broadway Pizza, Carolina's Italian Restaurant, and The Hideout Pizza & Grill. The Anaheim Packing District (1 km) offers over 20 eateries. For quick snacks or drinks, vending machines are available in the lobby. Coffee and hot water are available 24/7 in the lobby. Breakfast is included in the rate; no grab-and-go option is available for early departures.

The pool is family-friendly, with a fence for safety, and open all year. It is smaller in size, best for a quick cool-down rather than lap swimming. The hotel does not have a gym, spa, or fitness center. For outdoor activities, nearby hiking, tennis, and golf are available (some with additional fees). A sun terrace with outdoor furniture provides seating, though shade is limited. The property has a garden area. The pool is generally cleaned daily, but some days it may appear less pristine. Lounge chairs are available but not abundant.

The hotel offers free high-speed Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas. On-site parking is available for $15 per night (subject to availability, as spaces are tight, especially for larger vehicles). An additional car costs $20 per night if space permits. The property has a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/out, and tour desk that sells Disneyland tickets. Luggage storage is free for after-checkout. Laundry facilities (coin-operated) are on-site. A vending machine area offers snacks and drinks. The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking, elevator, and ADA-compliant rooms with grab bars and visual alarms. No pets allowed (service animals permitted). Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and security alarm. Front desk staff are multilingual (Spanish spoken) and assist with directions, ticket purchases, and local recommendations.
