QUARTERDECK MOTEL, Wildwood

The Quarterdeck Motel sits one short block from the boardwalk and beach, making it ideal for families and groups who want to spend their days on the sand or at Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks. The Wildwoods Convention Center is a 13-minute walk. Numerous casual restaurants, pizzerias, frozen custard stands and a Dunkin' are within a five-minute walk. Parking is free on site, and no shuttle exists - the beach is one block away.

Each unit provides a cable TV, microwave and refrigerator, plus a private bathroom with free toiletries. The property is older and basic; furnishings and decor are dated. Air conditioning and heating are included. Road-facing rooms and thin walls mean noise from other visitors is common - earplugs are recommended. Some rooms have had issues with cleanliness, broken furniture, and mold. The property has no elevators, and rooms on upper floors are accessed via steps. Balconies are not available.

The motel does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant. A vending machine provides drinks. Many casual dining options - including pizzerias, teppanyaki, pierogies, and frozen custard - lie within a few minutes' walk. The nearby boardwalk also offers a wide variety of food stalls and eateries.

The seasonal outdoor pool is open late and is complemented by a hot tub, foot bath, and a sun terrace with loungers. BBQ facilities and a picnic area are provided. The pool and hot tub are generally well-maintained. The sun terrace offers a place to relax, and nearby activities include cycling, fishing, and water parks (off-site).
