Shopping centres, a sports complex, supermarkets, and restaurants are within walking distance on campus. The historic Old Quebec district is 5 km away, accessible by a direct 15-minute bus ride. Free parking is available for those arriving by car, and the property's location also makes it a practical base for events or conferences at the university.

Standard rooms contain either one or two twin beds, a desk, armchair, and dresser. No air conditioning is provided; windows can be opened but may not adequately cool the room on hot days. Some upgraded rooms include a portable air conditioning unit. Shared bathrooms and showers are located on each floor and are separated by gender. A limited number of rooms with private bathrooms are available for those who prefer them-check availability when booking. Due to the building's construction, noise from hallways and neighbouring rooms can be audible. Rooms are cleaned twice a week.
