The hotel is within 0.5 km of a wide variety of dining options, and less than 15 minutes on foot from the Château Frontenac and Dufferin Terrace. Major bus routes run along the street, making it easy to reach other parts of the city without a car. The immediate area is very walkable for sightseeing, but the street is active until late at night, so rear-facing rooms are recommended for quieter sleep.

Each room measures approximately 16 m² and includes air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom in select room types. Some rooms also have a fireplace (decorative with heater), city views, or a sofa bed. Rooms facing Grande Allée are exposed to significant noise from street-level bars until early morning, while rear-facing rooms are markedly quieter. The building's historic character means parquet or creaky wooden floors, no elevator, and steep stairs. Housekeeping is only performed on request. Room condition varies; some are well-maintained, others show wear. Travellers with mobility concerns should request a first-floor room.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant or offer breakfast service. The immediate street provides extensive dining choices ranging from casual cafés to upscale cuisine, as well as lively bars.
