RIALTO EXPERIENCE, Venice

The location is a prime base for exploring Venice on foot: the Rialto Bridge, Basilica San Marco, and Piazza San Marco are within a short walk. The Ca' d'Oro and La Fenice Theatre are also nearby. For transport, Venice Marco Polo Airport is 18 km away, reachable by ATVO shuttle bus (€8, 20 min) from Piazzale Roma or ALILAGUNA waterbus (€15, 1 hour). Waterbus from the train station costs €10 and takes about 10 minutes. The surrounding streets contain a concentration of shops, restaurants, and bars. The area around the Rialto is extremely busy with pedestrian traffic during the day and active until late evening. Noise from the nearby restaurant and pedestrian activity carries into rooms facing the street or main thoroughfares.

Accommodation consists of double and triple rooms located within an apartment building converted into a guest house. Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, a safe, and city views. Room size is adequate for two people but some units, particularly those for longer stays or during renovations, are noted as compact. Soundproofing is limited; noise from nearby rooms, the restaurant below, and street activity is audible, especially at night. Windows lack screens, so opening them can allow insects inside. Air conditioning performance has been inconsistent in some stays, mainly during heat. Rooms are cleaned daily with towel changes provided.

Breakfast is not served in a dining room but is supplied as complimentary snacks in the room daily: fruit, juice, yoghurt, pastries, biscuits, and coffee. For guests who prefer a hot meal, several restaurants are within a very short walk, including Da Mamo, Restaurant Malibran, and Il Milion, all 0.3-0.5 km away. The location is surrounded by cafes and eateries, making alternative dining easily accessible. A kettle, coffee machine, and fridge in the room support self-catering of drinks and light meals.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. A paid airport shuttle service can be arranged (pricing: from airport to Piazzale Roma €40 taxi, to Rialto €120 taxi, or ATVO shuttle €8). An airport waterbus (ALILAGUNA) costs €15 per person. Luggage storage is available from around 10:30/11:00 for early arrivals or after checkout. Daily housekeeping includes towel changes. No on-site parking is available, as is standard in central Venice. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. Cots are available on request. Reception services are not 24-hour, but keys can be collected via self-check-in procedure for late arrivals. The property is not wheelchair accessible.
