The location is deliberately removed from the busiest tourist crowds, yet Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square are both within a 15-minute walk. The surrounding streets hold several trattorias, bakeries, a pharmacy, and a mini grocery store. A water taxi can drop you directly at the hotel dock. Note that the hotel can be difficult to find with standard navigation apps - following signs to the Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum) is the reliable route.
