RIVER RAPIDS INN, Niagara Falls

The inn is located along the Niagara River, with walking paths across the street. Greyhound Canada is 800 metres away, and Casino Niagara is 3 km from the property. The area is quieter than the downtown core, but the Falls and main attractions are a short drive or bus ride away. A bus stop nearby provides access to Clifton Hill and other sights. Free parking on-site helps those with a car, and a paid shuttle service is also available. The location is particularly convenient for visiting the Whirlpool Aero Car and white water walks.

Accommodation ranges from basic motel-style rooms to recently renovated spaces with new flooring, kitchenettes (microwave, stovetop, fridge), and updated bathrooms. Some rooms have exterior access (enter from outside). Beds vary; some report comfortable beds, others find them hard. Soundproof walls are present in some rooms. All rooms include free toiletries and hairdryer. Note that there is no elevator, so rooms on upper floors require climbing stairs. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the road. The property also offers allergy-free rooms.

Breakfast is available in the on-site Breakfast Restaurant, open from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekends and 07:00 to 09:00 on weekdays. The buffet often includes pastries, muffins, cereal, and hot dishes. Some find the breakfast adequate, while others note quality can be inconsistent. For self-catering, many rooms include a kitchenette. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks. Several restaurants are within a short drive, including IHOP (0.5 km) and Dave & Busters (8 km).

Services include express check-in/out, vending machines, laundry (additional charge), and a paid shuttle service. Bike and car hire are offered. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. Pets are not allowed, and the property is entirely non-smoking. No wheelchair-accessible rooms or elevator. The property can store bicycles securely in the basement upon request.
