HOTEL ROSSETTI, Nice

The hotel sits on a pedestrian street in Vieux Nice, 27 metres from Nice Cathedral and a 6-minute walk from Place Masséna. The Opéra-Vieille-Ville tram stop (300 m) connects to the train station in about 15 minutes and to the airport. The Cours Saleya flower market, numerous restaurants, and Nice Marina (14-minute walk) are all close by. The entrance can be tricky to find-it is between two businesses on the cathedral square-and taxis can only get within about 50 metres due to pedestrian restrictions.

All rooms are soundproofed and air-conditioned, with private bathrooms (shower, hairdryer, free toiletries), flat-screen TVs, and radios. Superior rooms add more space, seating areas, mini-bars, and parquet flooring. Twin beds are possible in Comfort and Superior categories. Family rooms can accommodate cots (available on request). There is no lift-stairs are steep-so first-floor rooms (e.g., rooms 1-7) are recommended for those with mobility concerns. Despite being on a lively street, the soundproofing keeps rooms quiet. Daily housekeeping is provided. Extra bed charges: EUR 20 per night for older children/adults in eligible room types.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, pastries, and hot drinks, served on the rooftop terrace overlooking Nice Cathedral. It is not automatically included in all rates and must be arranged the night before if desired. For other meals, the surrounding area is filled with restaurants and cafés within a 1-minute walk. Complementary tea and coffee are available in the common seating area and on the terrace all day. There is no restaurant on site.

There is no swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. The main leisure feature is a charming rooftop terrace with outdoor furniture and views of the cathedral-ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The beach and Promenade des Anglais are a short walk away for seaside recreation.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout. Luggage storage is offered for early arrivals or late departures. An iron is available on request. Cots can be provided for infants. Payments are accepted via American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Reception is open 08:00-19:00 daily (until 14:00 on Sunday); late arrivals receive an access code for self-check-in.
