Sakura Hotel Jimbocho sits in a calm, bookshop-filled district with many restaurants, convenience stores (FamilyMart, 7-Eleven), and cafes within a five-minute walk. Jimbocho Station (A6 entrance) serves multiple subway lines (Mita, Shinjuku, Hanzomon, Toei Shinjuku) and is wheelchair accessible via entrance A2. Otemachi Station is a 3-minute subway ride away, giving access to Tokyo Station in a further 5-minute walk. The Imperial Palace and Nippon Budokan are both within a 10-minute walk. Tokyo Dome and Tokyo Dome City amusement park are a 15-minute stroll. Shibuya is about 15 minutes by subway; Akihabara is a 10-minute ride. Universal Studios Japan is a separate trip taking 3.5-4 hours by train. The area is walkable to the Imperial East Garden and Kanda Myojin Temple, making it a practical base for both leisure and event travellers.

Rooms range from single and twin bunks in dormitories (4, 5, 6 or 8 beds per room) to private single, double, triple, quadruple and family rooms. Dormitory beds each have a curtain and slippers; bottom bunks are less noisy than top bunks, which may squeak with movement. Private rooms typically come with a semi-double or double bed (120 cm wide), or bunk beds for groups. Family rooms in the Annex accommodate 4-8 people with sofas that convert to beds and some include a private bathroom (shower, bidet, toilet) and a kitchenette (microwave, kitchenware). Triple rooms sleep 3 on bunk/extra bed setups; showers are shared on each floor. Room sizes are compact - luggage may need to be stored on the bed to open. In-room amenities include Yukata robes, face towel, slippers, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, heating, and a safety deposit box. Some rooms have a quiet street view. Note: thin walls and shared bathroom/sink areas outside rooms mean noise from hallways and other guests is common; earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.

Breakfast is included and consists of toast (white bread), butter, jam, daily homemade soup, and coffee/tea. A self-serve continental breakfast is provided from 04:30 to about 10:00. Eggs, salads, and scrambled eggs can be ordered for an additional charge at the cafe. The cafe menu also offers pizza, American, international, and European dishes for brunch, lunch, and dinner - with halal and vegetarian options available. The cafe space is open to guests 24/7 for working, socialising, or relaxing on the sun terrace. In the immediate area, many restaurants (including Thai, Japanese, steak, and ramen) are within a 0.3-0.5 km walk, plus two convenience stores nearby. The included breakfast is basic but appreciated for early starts; for a wider variety, the surrounding streets offer numerous breakfast alternatives.

There is no swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, or sauna on the property. Leisure time is spent in the shared cafe lounge, on the sun terrace, or exploring the neighbourhood - Jimbocho is famous for its many second-hand bookshops and art supply stores. The Imperial Palace East Gardens (10 min walk), Nippon Budokan, and Kanda Myojin Shrine are within easy walking distance. Tokyo Dome City (15 min walk) provides amusement park, baseball, and entertainment options. For runners, the Imperial Palace running course is accessible via Takebashi Station (about 8 minutes' walk). The hostel sometimes hosts social events; check at reception for current activities.

The 24-hour front desk can store luggage free of charge; long-term storage (e.g., a week) incurs a fee depending on amount. A travel concierge can arrange tours and bookings.
