SAN GOTTARDO CHARMING LOFT, Milan

The apartment is in the Navigli district, one of Milan's most characterful areas, with cafés, restaurants and a local market within walking distance. San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore and Palazzo Reale are both 2 km away, Santa Maria delle Grazie and The Last Supper are 3 km away, and Milan Linate Airport is 8 km from the property. Duomo di Milano is a 25-minute walk or a 4-5-stop tram ride, Bocconi University is 10 minutes on foot. With no on-site parking, walking, trams and taxis are the most practical ways to get around.

The apartment combines one separate bedroom, a living room and one private bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer and free toiletries. The two beds are comfortable, and the space is clean, spacious and practical for longer stays thanks to the kitchen and laundry facilities. The kitchenette has a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle, plus a dining table. Air conditioning, heating, a washing machine, ironing facilities, a seating area and a flat-screen TV with streaming services cover practical needs. The unit sits on the ground floor at the back of a residential complex; despite facing a main street, street noise is not noticeable. If the apartment feels cool or slightly damp, the air conditioning quickly resolves it.

Meals can be prepared at the dining table using the equipped kitchenette, and coffee, tea, salt and cooking oil are provided for basic needs. The Carrefour supermarket directly opposite makes restocking simple. The surrounding Navigli streets offer a wide choice of casual eateries within 0.3-0.5 km, including Pokeria by NIMA, Kate Away, Delicatessen, le voglie, Bottega Mascadelli, Smooy - Authentic Frozen Yogurt, Pancho Villa and Ai Balestrari sul Naviglio Pavese. This supports both short city breaks and longer stays where self-catering is preferred.

The apartment's leisure appeal is the area itself: the picturesque Navigli canals are lined with cafés and restaurants, and the neighbourhood is lively in the evening yet safe for families. This is a base for travellers who prefer exploring a vibrant district over using resort-style facilities, with relaxed canal-side walks available throughout the day.

Practical facilities include free WiFi throughout, a lift, a washing machine and ironing facilities. Dish and laundry products are provided, and cots are available for families with young children. The property contact is reachable via WhatsApp for questions during the stay.
