Hotel Sant'Angelo sits on the right bank of the Tiber River in the safe, residential Prati district. Castel Sant'Angelo is a 5-minute walk away, the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica 10-15 minutes on foot. Piazza Navona is 800 metres, the Pantheon 15 minutes, and the Spanish Steps 1 km. The main shopping streets Via del Corso and Via Condotti are within 10-15 minutes. Piazza Cavour (5 min walk) offers direct buses to Fiumicino Airport, Rome Termini, and Ciampino Airport. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and bakeries are within a 2-minute walk. The location is central enough to walk to most major sights while being quieter than the tourist hubs - good both for exploration and a peaceful night if the room faces an interior courtyard.

Rooms are individually decorated with classic-style furniture and parquet floors. Each includes air conditioning (controllable), a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a desk, laptop safe, minibar, electric kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, and free toiletries. En suite bathrooms have a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Rates are economical for central Rome, and the rooms are generally cleaned daily. Some rooms are in the main historic building, while others are in a separate annex down the street - this building may be older, with small lifts and less soundproofing. Rooms facing the street can be noisy due to traffic and restaurant activity; interior courtyard rooms are quieter. Air conditioning can be noisy. Some twin/double rooms have two single beds pushed together, which may separate.
