The hostel is very close to Higashi-Shinjuku Station, providing direct subway access across Tokyo and a short walk to Shin-Okubo JR station. The surrounding area is filled with Korean restaurants, convenience stores like LAWSON, and shops, making it practical for quick meals and essentials. Note that the nearest subway station does not have a lift, so carrying luggage up and down stairs is expected. The district has a busy nightlife and some red-light elements; noise from the street and common areas can be noticeable late into the night, and some travellers found the area seedy after dark.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in common areas but does not reach rooms in the annex. Luggage storage is free and helpful for early arrivals or late departures. An airport shuttle runs for an additional charge, and public transport (subway/JR) is a cheaper and faster alternative. The reception desk is not always staffed; late-check-in arrangements require prior notice. A laundry service is available (extra charge). Lockers are provided, but no safety deposit boxes in rooms. The common kitchen area is very basic - only a fridge, hot/cold water, and cups - no stove or microwave. The property has a designated smoking area, and the building is non-smoking overall. Housekeeping is basic; cleanliness standards have been a consistent issue in shared facilities.
