SPACE NIGHT CAPSULE HOSTEL, Berlin

The hostel is situated in a commercial building near Friedrichstraße station, with direct rail and subway connections. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 24 km away and reachable by public transport. The area is well served by bus routes, including the 200 which stops nearby. A Lidl supermarket is in the same building, and several cafés and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Major landmarks such as the Topography of Terror, Berlin Cathedral, and Brandenburg Gate are accessible on foot.

Each capsule contains a mattress, pillow, bedding, a reading light, a USB port, and ventilation controls. Upper capsules are accessed via ladder and may be tricky for some people to enter. The capsules are not soundproof; noise from neighbouring pods and common areas can be audible. Ventilation is limited and the interior can become warm, especially during summer. The mattress is thinner than standard hotel bedding and may feel firm. A locker is provided for storing valuables, and larger luggage can be left in the luggage storage room. Standard power sockets are not inside the capsule; devices must be charged via USB or at the lobby.

The hostel does not serve breakfast or have cooking facilities. A Lidl supermarket and several cafés and restaurants are within a short walk, offering options for all meals. The building also contains a bakery. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks in the hostel.

The common area near the reception is limited, and there is no lounge, garden, or communal kitchen. The capsule itself functions as the primary relaxation space.

Reception staff are available around the clock and speak German and English. Free towels can be obtained at reception. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, with a dedicated room containing a fridge and kettle. Safety deposit boxes are free to use. CCTV and security alarms are installed. The building has a lift and wheelchair access. WiFi is free in common areas and also available inside the capsules. No daily housekeeping is provided, but fresh linens and towels are available on request.
